Sometime Sonny’s new single captures the singer-songwriter’s homemade style and indie rocker energy. The track is short, sweet and starts strong. The direct lyrics twine in and out of the instrumentals like threads in embroidered fabric, sometimes clear and distinct and sometimes more enmeshed with the music. Overall, the feel of this track is one of energy with the repetitive lines lending a catchy style. The song was written in an impressive sit-down of only twenty minutes and the honesty in the track shines through.
